We offer a free soup kitchen(food) for people who are homeless, marginalised, pensioners and young people with lower income. And also for any one who needs a company to chat and eat.
We offer this service on every monday at 6.30 pm in our Church grounds. Please join us and inform others too. For more details 4972 4754 or 0435 867 166
Ray’s Soup Kitchen is facing a massive 70% increase in demand compared to this time last year. Since January, the kitchen has served up 1250 bowls of soup, compared to 736 last year.
The Soup Kitchen is seeing a significant increase in women, up 186%, showing that hardship in Gladstone is on the rise.
Ray’s Soup Kitchen opens every Monday and Wednesday evening, welcoming vulnerable people and providing a fresh healthy meal, free of cost and free of judgement.
People gain an added support network and form a connection with others, as well as becoming more aware of support services.
